Bootstrap FreeKB - OpenLDAP - Configure domain name
OpenLDAP - Configure domain name

Updated:   |  OpenLDAP articles

By default, the /etc/openldap/slapd.d/cn=config/olcDatabase={2}hdb.ldif file will have domain name my-domain.com, like this.

olcSuffix: dc=my-domain,dc=com

Use the ldapmodify command to configure OpenLDAP to use your domain name, such as dc=example,dc=com (example.com).
