Let's say the following is being returned when attempting to uninstall an package.
CRIMA1059E ERROR: Cannot uninstall IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment because IBM WebSphere SDK Java Technology Edition (Optional) requires components from it
The imcl (Installation Manager command line tool) command with the listInstalledPackages option can be used to see what packages are installed. Notice in this example that the Java SDK package is installed. In this example, Java SDK would need to be uninstalled before the IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment package can be uninstalled.
