FTP and Secure FTP (FTPS, SFTP) - Reset a PureFTPD users password

In a Linux Terminal, simply type pure-pw passwd and then the username. For example, the following command would be used to change the password for a user named billyt.
pure-pw passwd billyt
Password: *********
Enter it again: *******
Then update the password database.
pure-pw mkdb
