Follow these step to display the open, closed and blocked ports on your computer using ShieldsUP!
- Start by going to www.grc.com
- Select ShieldsUP!
- Select Proceed
- Select All Service Ports
A grid will appear. The grid will list the ports that are open, closed and blocked.
While using ShieldsUP is easy, it may not be the most reliable solution. As an example, a scan of the same network was done using Nmap. With Nmap, In this example, we can view the ports on each host in the network. Furthermore, Nmap has information on ports not identifed by ShieldsUP.
