Mozilla Thunderbird - POP3s or IMAPs encryption

POP3S
- In the left pane of Thunderbird, highlight your email address.
- Select View settings for this account.
- In the left panel, select Server Settings.
- Ensure you have the following settings:
- Server name = hostname of the POP3S server
- Port = 995
- User Name = your username
- Connection security = SSL/TLS
- Authentication method = Normal password
IMAPS
- In the left pane of Thunderbird, highlight your email address.
- Select View settings for this account.
- In the left panel, select Server Settings.
- Ensure you have the following settings:
- Server name = hostname of the IMAPS server
- Port = 993
- User Name = your username
- Connection security = SSL/TLS
- Authentication method = Normal password
