1. Download the profilePortChecker.zip file from http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21440402.
2. Navigate to your downloads folder, and extract the profilePortChecker.zip file.
3. Transfer the profilePortChecker.jar and run_profilePortChecker.sh (Linux) or run_profilePortChecker.bat (Windows) to the was_home/bin/ directory.

Update the permissions of the run_profilePortChecker.sh script so that owner has the execute permission.

chmod u+x run_profilePortChecker.sh

You will then be able to use the profile port checker tool to determine if there are any port conflicts.
