The Installation Verification Tool, or just IVT, is used to verify that you've successfully installed a product. Here is an example of how to run the ivt command on Linux.
${WAS_INSTALL_ROOT}/bin/ivt.sh your_server your_profile
If the IVT tool thinks that the installation of the product was successfully, the following should be displayed.
IVTL0070I: The Installation Verification Tool verification succeeded.
IVTL0080I: The installation verification is complete.
