1. In the left panel of Ansible Tower, select Inventories.
2. Select the green plus icon.
3. Select Inventory.
4. In the New Inventory form, enter the following:
   1. Name = Give your inventory any name you would like
   2. Description = Optional
   3. Organization = Select the organization the project is part of.
5. Select Save.

In this example, an inventory named foo inventory has been created. This inventory does not yet contain any managed hosts. Now you can append managed hosts to the static inventory.
