Mule - Download and install Mule in Linux

Updated:   |  Mule articles

Download Mule ESB Runtime from https://developer.mulesoft.com/download-mule-esb-runtime. Let's say mule-standalone.tar.gz was downloaded to /home/john.doe/downloads/. Use tar to extract the downloaded package.

[john.doe@server1 ~]# tar -zxvf /home/john.doe/Downloads/mule-standalone.tar.gz -C /etc

Use the following command to deploy a standalone Mule application.

[john.doe@server1 ~]# /etc/mule-standalone/bin/./mule

DEPLOYED should be displayed.
