Make an SSH connection to the server running the API Gateway and select 8) Display Patch Management menu.

This menu allows you to manage CA Technologies patches on the
CA API Gateway Appliance

You will be presented with the patches that can be installed. These are the patches that you have uploaded.

This option installs a patch that has been uploaded.


The following patches are available for installation. 
Please make your selection via line number.

1) ID: CA_API_PlatformUpdate_64bit_v9.X-RHEL-2020-03-23 
   DESCRIPTION: Upgrades the CA API 64bit Platform to the 9.X-RHEL-2020-03-23 version. This patch requires that the 9.X Platform Update be installed first. It also requires a restart of the CA API Gateway Appliance.
2) ID: Layer7_API_PlatformUpdate_64bit_v9.X-RHEL-2020-04-27 
   DESCRIPTION: Upgrades the Layer7 API 64bit Platform to the 9.X-RHEL-2020-04-27 version. This patch requires that the 9.X Platform Update be installed first. It also requires a restart of the Layer7 API Gateway Appliance.
3) ID: Layer7_API_PlatformUpdate_64bit_v9.X-RHEL-2020-05-26 
   DESCRIPTION: Upgrades the Layer7 API 64bit Platform to the 9.X-RHEL-2020-05-26 version. This patch requires that the 9.X Platform Update be installed first. It also requires a restart of the Layer7 API Gateway Appliance.
4) ID: Layer7_API_PlatformUpdate_64bit_v9.X-RHEL-2020-06-24 
   DESCRIPTION: Upgrades the Layer7 API 64bit Platform to the 9.X-RHEL-2020-06-24 version. This patch requires that the 9.X Platform Update be installed first. It also requires a restart of the Layer7 API Gateway Appliance.

Reboot the API Gateway appliance for this change to take effect. After reboot, I always like to list the installed patches.
